This is Ludwig Van Beethoven's Sonata No.8 in C minor, arranged for electric guitar and full rock band by David J Dowling.
It was arranged with a focus on drawing out any notable heavy rock/metal riffs that are convincingly playable on a single guitar. The exposition that begins soon after the drums enter is a great example of this, and is one of the strongest rock/metal riffs I've ever heard - originally published for piano some 170 years before heavy rock began!
This album is a collection of the title track in full rock band form, and a series of 'minus one' backing tracks for those who wish to learn the parts and play along.
*For the 'minus-one' tracks only, a click track is embedded in the quiet sections, so the timing can be followed where the drums are silent.
